DOS LORD v4.08 Beta:  Bugs Listing

1) In Dark Cloak Tavern, Old man fails to give any information
on players, other than one single line of text:  "Duke Charlie?
I know who that is.  Last I heard .."

2) Also in Dark Cloak Tavern, nothing happens at all when you
use option S with bartender to change your Skills Class.

3) In Dark Cloak Tavern, doing R from Old Man's Table dumps you
out of the Tavern, instead of back to the Dark Cloak Tavern
Menu.

4) In the Forest, LORD allows LADY scripts to raise stats such
as Gems above 32,000.

5) In the Armoury, regardless of what armour is purchased, and
regardless of what Defense Points are after you sell your
armour, LORD ALWAYS raises Defense Points to 32,000.

6) In Dark Cloak Tavern, if even one stat in a player's record
is out of range, LORD crashes when you are using "Examine
Etchings in Table" option.

7) In LORD's View Stats, its layout can not accomodate Weapon
Name and/or Armour Name that are over 17 spaces in length.
Even though both fields are allowed to go up to 20 bytes/
characters in length.

8) When player kills another warrior in LORD, it will raise their
Experience Points above 2 Billion points.  End result at times
is that player has a negative balance afterwards in the EXP stat.

9) In the Forest, LORD destroys the player's Experience Points
when it runs a LADY script that changes Experience, if player's
Experience was over 2 Billion.

Example:  Player had 2,147,483,647 experience after Killing
another warrior.  He went into Forest and used the Nice Hag
script.  It awarded player 240,000 experience points, which
caused LORD to reset player to ZERO exp points.

All of these problems were noted in both the official release
version of LORD v4.07, and in the DOS LORD v4.08 beta's
late September 2006 compilation.

Some of the problems I think are also present in LORD/32, in
its v4.08 beta late September 2006 compilation.  I've not
spent much time in LORD/32, so I don't have good info on its
bugs/glitches like I do for DOS LORD.  End of report.
